The following manufacturers must be opened with Smart Decoders or similar via the lock. All others can normally be opened with the Blue Finger via the interior:
BMW (E-Series until approx. 2012/2013)
VAG until approx. 2015
OPEL: When double locked
Some Fords when double locked
Remark: VAG as of 2015 can often be opened again via interior
